am 27. und 28. Januar 2008 ist es wieder so weit: Das Lernforum Großgruppenarbeit - ein offenes Netzwerktreffen der Großgruppenarbeiter - findet statt. In den letzten Jahren hatten wir immer etwa 140 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer. Und auch dieses mal freuen wir uns auf große Beteiligung und das Wiedersehen mit vielen tollen Kollegen. Auch als "Neue(r)" sind Sie uns sehr willkommen.

Hello, lovely colleagues – On behalf of the WOSonOS 2008 Host Team, I invite you to ‘pencil in’ these dates on your calendar – the WOSonOS 2008 in San Francisco will happen some time from mid-July to the end of July 2008. The Host Team will soon be meeting to decide about incorporating a few more events into / near our WOSonOS – so we will be able to announce the exact WOSonOS dates to you as soon as we are able to finalize all that. On Friday 15th of june the Stichting Faciliteren in de Benelux, or IAF-Benelux, organises its fourth consecutive conference on facilitation with the theme: Facilitating: if we can not make it easier, can we make it more fun? Location: 'De Bovendonk ' in Harderbergen (Hoeve), The Netherlands.

Op vrijdag 15 juni aanstaande is de vierde keer dat we als Stichting Faciliteren in de Benelux, IAF-Benelux, een conferentie organiseren, dit jaar met als thema

Faciliteren: gemakkelijker kunnen we het niet maken, leuker wel?

 

Toelichting op thema

Als facilitator ben je de ‘regulateur’ van het communicatieproces, dus je maakt het gemakkelijk voor anderen, maar - vanwege de veelheid aan variabelen die je moet beheersen - moeilijk voor jezelf. Zeker wanneer je je grenzen opzoekt. Vandaar: gemakkelijker kunnen we het niet maken, leuker wel? In deze conferentie bieden we je aanknopingspunten en perspectief hoe je faciliteren leuker én makkelijker kunt maken.

On White Wolf we are building a support system: a network of resources for effective communication and (group) facilitation, using a variety of participatory tools. We seek:

• Interested scientists willing to share knowledge and (new) insights on climate changes
• Facilitators interested in guiding
• Appreciative inquiry
• Scenario planning/organisational sculpting
  
• Open space
• Retrospectives

Our resources and tools need to be sharpened to a high degree on “the participatory decision-making edge”. We also seek:

• Facilitator-trainer-coaches who are willing and able to:
• Train and coach local key players.
• Support effective use of our facilitation and communication tools by participants in our events, so excellence in communication and facilitation propagates.

No guarantees of course. We are creating a professional presence as a possibility, and are also looking for sponsors.
